Cloning Project

So many Sam's, not enough time.
For this project I took multiple pictures of my living room with me in all them but in a different spot each time. This project was kind of difficult but I got the hang of it eventually! I put all of the pictures together and used a layer mask to let certain parts of the pictures show through so it looks like there are a bunch of me! After that I flattened the pictures to make them into just one picture rather than a bunch of stacked picture. The last thing I did was play with the color balance to make the colors look better.

Projection Project

Deer In Headlights.
For this project we had to project an image onto our model. I think this is the best picture we took because the placement was perfect. I did have to elongate the white background with photo shop but I think it looks nice. And I played with the colors and black and white balance.

Go To Wonderland.
For this picture I strategically placed my model and then cropped the picture to get out any weird things in the background. I also played with the color balance to bring out the blues, pinks and purple in the picture.

I personally love both of the pictures!

Refraction

For this picture, I cropped out the bottom of the image so you can't see anything other than the white of the table. I also made the picture black and white which does look cool, but at the same time it made some of the lines in the refracted part of the picture harder to see. I also don't like how I didn't get the full bottles in, because the background wasn't tall enough. I think this picture definitely could've been planned out better.
For this picture I cropped it a little bit, but I mostly just brightened it up and played with the greenness of the picture using color balance. I think this picture is much better than the first  color and detail wise, but I don't like the way the yellow bottle stands out way more than the clear ones.

Animal Photography

For this project I took this picture of my cat and cropped it so that you can't see anything distracting. I like the original colors in the picture so I only messed with the color balance a tad bit.

Reflection Project!

For this picture I played with the color balance and also used the clone stamp to edit out a reflection of a car that was behind me.

I brightened up the colors on the door handle in the picture and also added a black and white sketch effect to the rest of the photo so that the door handle reflection stood out in this picture!

For this picture I just put a long mirror on the ground and arranged these tea things on it neatly. I the used the color dropper thing to fill in the background so you only focus on the reflection.

Ghost Photography

GHOST PHOTOGRAPHY
For this project I started by taking a simple picture in the school bathroom and editing it to make it darker and less distracting. I then dressed up my mum in an awesome ghost, witch like dress and gave her gross makeup to make her look dead, as most ghosts do. I then edited the picture of her and cropped her out of it so I could add her to the bathroom background picture. After that I completed the picture by messing with the opacity and outer/inner glow on my mum and fading the bottom of her dress using a layer mask to make her look more realistic, rather than have it look like I just added her into the picture. I like this picture a bunch!

White Still Life

This is my first photo for the white still life project. The first picture is the original and the second picture is the edit. I was trying to make it a more dramatic black and white photo with an older feel to  it. It isn't my favorite photo, but i do think it was successful.
This is my second photo for the white still life project. Again, the first photo is the original and the second is the edit. I was going for a sepia tone look. I used the color balance to get the color right. I also used the blur tool to focus in on the spiral of the toilet paper and the egg. I used the bandage tool as well for this project to clean up some of the random marks on some of the objects. I really enjoyed editing this photo and I definitely think it is better than the first.
This is my last photo for the white still life project. (Original left, Edit right) This is my favorite of the three. The goal was to give the photo some color without making it crazy. I felt like a lot of people were giving there photos blue tints, so I decided to go with green to make it stand out more. I really love the placement of the items in this photo. I used the blur tool in this photo so your eyes really focus on the main objects in the photo. I love this photo, I think the color is awesome. The blur could be better, but over all, it is my favorite.

Toy Photography.

Our latest project was toy photography. I decided to create a story with a series of pictures. Some of the photos are more successful than the others. My favorite is the pond scene at the end.. This project had me stumped in the beginning. I had no idea how to make a toy look life-like. But as I took more pictures and looked up ideas, I got some pretty good ideas! Over-all I think I did well, and I learned a lot of new Photoshop skills.
While Woody was playing with the other toys in the classroom, Leonard the lizard attacked him and stole his very favorite hat!
He escaped the lizard, and ran to his hiding place, but could not get the door unlocked..
Leonard chased him until the sun began to set. Luckily, Woody escaped! He decided to walk to the pond to clear his head of what had happened.
By the time he got there it was dark. It had been a long and stressful day.. Woody was so sad about losing his favorite hat. Good thing Leonard had dropped it in the water earlier! Woody is happily reunited with his beloved hat.

Scavenger Hunt Blend

For the scavenger hunt, we had to take pictures of shapes, lines, textures, and colors. In this picture, the railroad track is my line. The 0 on the pole is my shape. The flower petals are a soft texture. And the red house is my color!

These are the original photos.
